bbmiLo: To be honest, I do not understand how this restaurant is quite popular. Maybe most of people in China don't know what real Thai food is? They serve "Chinese style Thai food", sort of like Chinese takeout food in America, not of authentic Thai taste at all. That being said, their outlets are nice, service is decent, so it's a safe bet to take people who want "Thai food" in Shanghai, of course personally I rather choice Coconut Paradise. Enjoy program has 2 vouchers, one of them is buy 1 get 1 free business lunch at IFC outlet, guess what, at the restaurant they claim they do not have any business lunch sets. What a joke.
grantyuan: The staff are very friendly, but a bit low in terms of grooming
biliana: Not my favorite Thai but a safe bet. Would never especially plan a dinner there but if I find myself around one by lunch or dinner time or someone proposes it, it's always nice to go there. The food is good, the service though could be really really slow, and drinks could arrive even after some of the dishes... My impressions are from Simply Thai on Xintiandi and Hongmei Lu, heard from my husband that the one on Lujiazui was a big disappointment, but I haven't tried it myself. It's in the normal price range for Thai, but with the coupon especially for a large group it's a very good value.
glenporritt: Went on a Sunday night and the place was empty. Service was outstanding (where it is usually only very good) and the food was very prompt.
somhathai: Drink doesnt taste good. Honey frost lemongrass, but waiter went back and fix it.
snoopyjyw: In IFC, lunch-set program has not started. And the menu is also a temporary one. Buy 1 set get 1 set can not be used currently. Only 50% coupon is allowed.
scottyin: Food at IFC is below XTD. didn't allow the use of enjoy iPhone app. Manager has an attitude problem and refused to listen. Will never return
[ENJOY]: To all our members: the Simply Thai IFC group have informed us that they will be unable to accept the iPhone app until their lunch sets are ready. All other Simply Thai outlets are currently able to use the app. Apologies for this unfortunate situation at the Simply Thai branch in the IFC Mall.
Hopley: Great value voucher, 5 of us stuffed for only 55RMB each! Been before to the one in Xintiadi and found it nothing special, however now having gone to the original loved it. Did not have drinks so that helped keep price down. Good time had by all.
komodo: Use the coupon, the performance-to-price ratio is okey. The service is nice! BBQ sliced pork neck fillet is so delicious!
domotominami: Thai food is unacceptable to me but I was glad to the food here .We ordered 3 dishes :Crispy Fish in Spicy
thelightfantastic: You pay mainly for a nice place that is quite prettily decorated. Love the soup most of all but all the food is good.
cjfuss: Decent Thai place worth money ok ambience and service
bobozero: It's been around for ages and for a good reason. Not the best thai food in town, but they definitely have the largest menu selection in town. Great ambiance , great place for business dinners if they're up for thai
IngaEg: Really cozy place, perfect location and delicious curry!
