Sasha's Garden and Bar

cmou5775: Sacha's does have a French Concession charm that is worth enjoying for a drink or two. It's popular and can get busy, especially when the weather is good and the patio is open. Good draft selection; food is okay; the service can be slow, so bring a large object to flag down the waiters when things are busy. The setting is nice--old mansion that has character. A favorite of mine for a quick drink to take tourist/foreign guest for the building's historical background.

biliana: Have tried Sasha's brunch a few times, every time found it had gotten more expensive and ended up more disappointed swearing to never go back. It's crowded, the food choices are extremely limited and the waiters are incompetent and arrogant. When the brunch price was 80 RMB this could all be understood and even forgiven, but for the current price I prefer going elsewhere where I won't be pushed, looked down upon by the service and need not to queue in order to get food.

jendives: THis place is one of Shanghai's expat favorite brunch! Come for the brunch on Sat. or Sunday 1 to 2 times a month, and will keep on coming...^^ as long as the brunch quality is steady and the price not higher than 120rmb ^^ The atmosphere is very nice, decoration very much about the Colonization time and Concessions. Comfy seats, good menu, a little overpriced but I never ordered anything but a pizza, which is very good (ate it 2 years ago though). Winter makes their huge terrace unexploitable so the brunch is less worthy then, however still good to have one inside. Can't wait for the sun and heat to be back on their terrace to come again on Sat. early afternoon for a de-boozing brunch ^^ Jendives
