Lost Heaven

bbmiLo: The environment is GREAT. It almost reminds me of Tao in New Year. The food itself, I personally don't appreciate Yunnan cuisine so I am not a good judge on that. I'd say it's a good place to take visitors, not somewhere I will eat and enjoy the food regularly.

biliana: An old Shanghai favorite, I return there every so often. The service and food is stable, the environment too hasn't really changed much over the years. It's a nice good for all purposes restaurant: to go on a date, with friends or bring visitors, you know exactly what to expect and never get disappointed. The voucher value is relatively poor though, one could usually get a bigger discount by using the card depending on the number of people. Prefer the old one on Gaoyou Lu, the one on the Bund is so huge, feels like a canteen.

Hopley: One of the best meals in town. Fantastic, a place to take visitors for sure to show them "Chinese" food is not what they may think.

cecile: Very nice Yunnan food! full of flavors but a little oily! Great bar at GaoYou lu branch with a very nice decor and sitting area.

tatasoufi: 68 RMB for a voucher is definitely not such a good deal. Victim of its success in both locations, the place is always crowded and noisy. Some local yunnan dishes are worth to try though onerous.

komodo: Used the voucher, the performance-to-price ratio is no good. We have booked,shrink the body to wait,but the receptionist sees the foreigners coming opens the warm air immediately! The business hour,first arranges the foreigners to go upstairs and take a seat, neglects us! In brief, will not patronize again!

thelightfantastic: Lost Heaven is all about the experience. Good food and service, really evocative interiors, relatively pricey. It is absolutely worth going here for a special night out where everything is of a high standard - but if you're just looking for good food there are cheaper options.

marleen: We are really lost in Heaven when we dine there. A must to go there with visitors. So far, all of my family and friends just love the food and the service. Special atmosphere, great food, great prive/value. We are regular customers there.

stommly: My favourite place to take visitors to Shanghai. It's impressive interior, unique food and non smoking section are a winning combination.

cmou5775: really nice food!Set in the heart of the Former French Concession District, this restaurant, although very ex-pat, offers a really great menu with lots of wonderful choices that are super tasty as well as unique with many tried and tested choices. The decor, the music, the service - all these are great but the highlight is definitely the food which I loved and is one of the first things I remember when I look back.
